Las Américas International José Francisco Peña Gómez Airport (SDQ): Approximate driving time is 10 minutes and distance is 5 miles (8 km.) Driving directions from Las Américas International José Francisco Peña Gómez Airport: Turn right onto Las Américas International Hwy and continue until exiting into the village of Boca Chica. At the first traffic light turn right and follow Calle Duarte. Follow the signs to the hotel. AMENITIES & SERVICES
|
|
What to expect: European and North American guests come here for sun, sea, and after-dark action, the latter centered around a lively disco and a large casino, both open until 4 AM. The casino contains 70 slot machines, five blackjack tables, five Caribbean poker tables, four roulette wheels, a craps table, a poker table, and keno. Amenity highlights: Coral reefs ensure the sea remains calm and shallow enough off the 150-yard-wide beach to permit aquatic volleyball 20 yards from shore. Sand so white it won't burn feet extends 100 yards into the resort. Thatch-roof palapas offer shade. The resort's Beach Section pool is medium-sized, with a children's pool adjacent. The Garden Section's pool is a huge, free-form attraction and includes a 20-person, cool-water spa raised above one end. Insider tip: Located in a garden flanked by shops and the casino, the spacious, open-air Baccarat bar is a tranquil spot for savoring starlit nights near the beach. It offers cushioned seating for comfortable conversations.
